A Woman's Perspective: Are Some Relationships Better Left as a Memory?

I couldn’t take the discussions with my girlfriends anymore. I couldn’t take talking about being angry, and getting bitter about knowing there was no longer a man in our lives and how could they treat women like this?  Oh the cheating scandals or the lack of attention and just better yet, some of them had men that just downright couldn’t step up to be a man.  But then in a few minutes… us girls laughed about the bitch session and said “let’s go find some men!”  I too followed in the uproar and laughter, but secretly deep down, I was tremendously heartbroken and I didn’t know how to carry myself on a day to day basis without questioning what went wrong.  I tend to blame myself you know.  But as the hours, days and weeks went by it appeared that my past relationships were just like a Kenny Chesney song and it was just “Better as a memory”.  Awake for hours on a sleepless night, I decided to write a letter to my ex, but really… it was to every woman/ man out there going through a failed relationship or a failed marriage and I want you to know it is okay to have 2nd or 3rd or 4th chances in love again…. You just have to want it.
