Men’s Grooming for the Red Carpet (Hair and Face)

The world of men’s grooming products has come a long way in recent years. No longer are men restricted to a small handful of options when it comes to taking care of their appearance. Now, there is a vast and ever-growing array of men’s grooming products on the market, catering to every conceivable need and preference. While this is undoubtedly a good thing, it can also be a little overwhelming for men who are new to the world of grooming. With so many products and brands to choose from, it can be tough to know where to start. That’s why we’ve put together this guide to the best men’s grooming products on the market. Whether you’re looking for a new way to style your hair or just some general advice on how to take care of your skin, we’ve got you covered.

Dandymen Collection

Sea Salt Spray

I dig sea salt sprays.  They instantly provide a textured look to hair when you don’t have time to wait out an olaplex treatment.  This one has a better pump handle than the ones I’ve used before.  The trigger handle works way better than the usual up-and-down pump.  Like you’re shooting a gun full of awesomeness at yourself.

Styling Paste

For those who want spikey, short but managed, controlled in any sort of way look, this natural wax based styling paste will come in handy.

Geologie Collection

My next pic is for the face.   Some male face products are stupidly harsh, is if just because we’re men we want to be aggressive about Everything.  This is why I liked Geologie after trying it. But it is your face! So before you hit the town, you’ll want a daily routine which includes:

  1. Starting with the sensitive formula facewash.
  2. Dab on the anti-aging eye cream (very gently, no rubbing, put a little on your finger and dab outwards from nose-side to temple-side).  Don’t forget your lids (the brand recommends this as step 3, but I usually do this before any other creams to help protect the eye area).
  3. Finish off with their Tone Control Morning cream. You can be generous with this one.

Repeat the above at night time, but swap the Tone Control Cream for their Night Cream.

“That’s a lot of product to hunt and add to a shopping cart!” you say.   No worries, the sell it all quite easily in a Complete Skincare Routine set.

While red carpet coverage often focuses on women, who  happen to have been long been associated with beauty and grooming, men have only recently begun to pay more attention to their appearance (just google Billy Bob Thorton on the red carpet >a decade ago vs now). In the past, men’s grooming was mostly limited to shaving and keeping their hair trimmed. However, today there is a whole industry devoted to men’s grooming, with a wide range of products available to suit every need. From skincare and haircare products to clothes and accessories, there is a lot to choose from when it comes to men’s grooming. And with more and more men becoming interested in looking good, the industry is only going to grow. So if you men that are looking to up their grooming game, share away!

Let’s start with the absolutely STELLAR.  Basquettes are a 6 piece basket set that you can use to grill, air fry, smoke, rotisserie, dehydrate and pretty much anything else a creative mind can think of.  Seriously, wow!  Maybe if we can we can try to demonstrate these on an episode of Rock Star Recipes .

When used on a grill, they instantly transform the grilling experience into a versatile super power kitchen.  A simple yet effective solution to grilling needs most of us didn’t even imagine we had!

A Killer Spice Rub Collection

Seriously! These are awesome.  Keeping coming back/stay tuned and I might just be posted some Rock Star Recipes using some of these spice rubs!

Old Arthur's

Old Arthur’s has a variety of hot gift items, I am a fan of the Dry Rub Gift Pack.

King of the Grill Custom Engraved Set

From one of our favorite go-to places for gifts, GroovyGuy Gifts, are a series of custom gifts for grilling.  The custom tailgate set is just #$%^%ing cool.  Not just for tailgating either, dude can walk it out to the backyard or take it with him on picnics  – personalized with his name on it.   How can you not love this?

Oscar Smith’s “The Backyard BBQ Bible”

This is one helluva book with over 100 recipes and solid nice hard cover.  IT just screams GIFT!   From Lemongrass Chicken Wings to Bulgogi Tofu (ON THE GRILL!!!).  And the photography is stunning.  It is basically a high end cooking show in book form.

The Spice Lab Grilling Seasoning Collection

This is an impressive set of BBQ seasoning blends. From Ancho Chili and Coffee to a Smokey Pecan Rub!   This is seasoning for the elite foodie who wants to elevate their grill game.

Weak Knees Sriracha Gift Set

Bushwick Kitchen has a Sriracha Gift Set that is awesome! I make my own kimchi, and I often skip the gochujang because of the annoying high sugar content (I suppose that makes my kimchi more of a sauerkraut).   But these Weak Knees sauces are super flavorful so you don’t need a lot.  For grilling, just brushing on a few drops actually works really well!!   The set makes for a pretty cool gift.

LifeHandles Clip On Drink Holder

This thing is super fun. Anyone would love this gift, grillers don’t like having to set down their drinks while cooking only to have to find it again.  With a clip on drink holder they can keep their drink on them at all times without having to lose focus from the grill.  It also looks super-metal.  Blast that Motley Crue music while grilling! Pretty cool!

TheraBalm

Grilling isn’t just about the food.  We get grilling “injuries” too (evidenced by my finger post the Afgani Chicken Experiment lol).  TheraBalm is a CBD balm for pain and scars that works QUITE well on burns.  It makes for a pretty great gift in conjunction with one of the other gifts above.  At the very least,  even they don’t admit they get burned sometimes, you’ll know better and you’ll get a smile.

Grilling Wrapping Paper

Don’t forget, you’ve gotta wrap those gifts! Viola Grace makes a super fun Red & Gold Grilling Apron Wrapping Paper to help set the mood!

The best gifts for men who like to grill are ones that are unique and memorable. Some great ideas include a custom-made grill brush, a personalized apron, or a set of grilling spices. Whatever you choose, make sure it is something that he will appreciate and use. Thanks for reading and feel free to share this article with anyone you know who could use these ideas!

One brand we tried and liked here at R4RR is Meticulous by UB Super.

It is quite an expensive product line though, that is the downside.  The upside is it doesn’t contain nasty ingredients like dimethicone.  They have quite a good ingredients profile.
