I recently discovered a super knife called the Thai Moon Knife. I originally was going to try to use one to butcher a whole turkey (and still might) but realized that regular knives aren’t great for cutting tropical fruit either. If you’ve ever had to slice the ends off a pineapple you know what I mean. Or even a papaya which is relatively soft skin-wise ends up spewing seeds when trying to use an everyday knife to cut it.
I know what you’re thinking . . “I use everyday knives all the time and they’re fine.” Yes, they’re fine – but a super power knife really ups your game. A moon knife can cut through bone and really is best suited for butchering meat. I am going to try it on a pork loin soon as well, so stay tuned and keep coming back!
