Too Good to Be True Weight Loss Miracles? Let’s Bust Em!
Is This a Weight Loss Miracle or a Get Rich Quick Scheme? By Mary Thompson –
Just because it’s rubber stamped with the words “health” and weight loss doesn’t mean most
manufacturers see dollar signs and nothing else. There are those which are on the side of the angels
and those which are the side of greed. More often than not, profit before health seems to be the key
factor.
Fitness is a market that will pretty much never die out. People are constantly concerned about their
health, thus the need to find to ways to easily shed the pounds and achieve the goal of living a longer
more fruitful life is always in sight. In a perfect world it would be simple enough to say that a diet of
vegetables and exercise equals a healthy and sustainable life. Nevertheless, as with anything our society
aspires to achieve, consumerism and instant-gratification tend to go hand in hand.

Why We Celebrate Holi
For those that don’t have a lot of Indian, S. Asian, Caribbean or S. American friends to tell you what’s going on, you may be asking – why is everyone partying and throwing colorful powder on each other??
Should TV Spinoffs Quit While They’re Ahead?

Trying to determine when a popular television series has reached the peak of its success is difficult to pin point. Nothing lasts forever and eventually after several successful seasons all good things come to an end. This was the case for two popular family-centered genre television series Full House and Gilmore Girls.
Occasionally, a show will come along that is so great, it earns the right to call itself a pop-culture icon. Their popularity grew to such lengths that international recognition was gained. Re-runs are still being shown on a sometimes daily basis because of their power to elicit high ratings. After all, why kill the golden goose? Clearly, audiences are still drawn to them, so they must be doing something right.

Shortcuts to Great Skin
By Mary Thompson –
An emphasis upon the importance of skin care is far from a craze that has just recently taken over the
runways as well as cosmetic promotions that stretch from London, Paris, Milan, Los Angeles and New
York. The obsession with finding the latest methods to achieve clear skin, sun protection and anti-aging
side effects has been on every woman’s mind since the middle ages.

Skin Care Tips for When You’re Just Too Busy
Quick fixes when you don’t have a lot of time to do much of anything when it comes to a beauty routine is a market that seems to have really taken off these days. There’s no such thing as multi-tasking just multi-failing unless it’s simply an inevitable way of doing things. That vicious cycle is one so many of us seem to find ourselves in every day. Whether we like it to not the hamster wheel like tendencies of our daily lives are now the new norm.
It would be heavenly to be able to devote an hour per night to a beauty routine. However, let’s face it; the mask and exfoliating scrubs are great for weekends to do them every day is simply unheard of. Beauty rituals should be something to be enjoyed not a chore to get done.
Let’s not jump ahead of ourselves either; no cleansers or moisturizers are not the way to go either. The heavy price to pay for worn out, dehydrated neglected skin is far worse than anything high-end makeup counters at Saks could throw your way. Medicated creams and doctor bills will cost more than an arm and a leg. Doesn’t all of this make a few extra minutes of showing you face some love not sound so bad?

Rain Gear – it’s the New Sexy!
“Rainy days and Mondays always get me down,” These famous lyrics of a popular Carpenters song paint a picture of dreary gray wet days when all anyone wants to do is stay inside. Positive qualities of spring showers at first glance make up a pretty short list. To most people the only thing these down pours were good for was the fact that the pollen from the air would be washed away. Then perhaps the symptoms of hay fever would dissipate even for the time being.
There is a bright side to all this gray.
For the fashionistas, out there it could be another

I just got back home from a long and amazing awards seasons! Oscars weekend was so much fun. However, awards season can take its toll on even the most cared for skin.
